Stefano Ricci Top Dressage Trophy

On 5th and 6th November, the Top Dressage Trophy by Stefano Ricci takes centre stage at Fieracavalli, bringing together some of the world’s most accomplished riders and horses. From the Grand Prix to the Freestyle, exceptional technique meets effortless grace, revealing the extraordinary bond between horse and rider in a captivating display of equestrian excellence. The event will be held during the 128th edition of Fieracavalli, in Verona, marking the debut of dressage in the sports program of Pavilion 8. Dressage is an Olympic discipline that tests the understanding between horse and rider through a series of pre-established figures and gaits, judged on the precision and correctness of the movements. On Thursday, November 5th, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, 12 pairs will compete in the Stefano Ricci Top Dressage Grand Prix, the classic test of the discipline, based on the execution of a sequence of technical exercises. On Friday, November 6th, from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM, it will be the turn of Top Dressage Freestyle by Stefano Ricci, in which each pair will present a freestyle program accompanied by music. Piaffe, passage, and pirouette will be among the key figures of the performances.

The trophy, crafted entirely from solid silver by the master silversmiths of Stefano Ricci, depicts a finely chiselled sphere in high relief, featuring horses in motion - a symbol of strength, grace, and freedom. The base, inspired by the geometric lines of the octagon, emblem of the Maison, represents the connection between goldsmithing artistry and sporting spirit, uniting Florentine tradition with technical perfection.
