WORLD SUPER YACHT AWARDS
Stefano Ricci has been a partner of the World Superyacht Awards, the “Oscars” of the maritime world organised by Boat International Media, since 2015. Every year the Awards recognise the ingeniousness and innovation required by the design, engineering and construction of the world's most refined luxury superyachts.
2016
Stefano Ricci hosted the welcome party for the judges, producers and boat owners with an exclusive evening tour of the Uffizi museum. The folllowing evening, during the gala evening held in Palazzo Vecchio, the 42.3m Serenity Mondomarine, which is decorated with Antico Setificio Fiorentino fabrics, was presented with the award.
Stefano Ricci saluted the return of the World Superyacht Award with a private party at Florence's Società dei Canottieri rowing club under the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
The following evening, during the gala, the CEO of the fashion house, Niccolò Ricci, presented Sybaris with the award for Sailing Yacht of the Year.
2018
For the last event of the WSA in Florence, Stefano Ricci opted for the prestigious location of Villa Bardini. During the course of the closing ceremony, Filippo Ricci, creative director of the maison, presented an award to the winning “Motor Yacht of the Year”: Faith, a luxury yacht built in Holand by Fead Ship.
Stefano Ricci has been pleased to host a cocktail event to celebrate the World Superyacht Awards, in the prestigious and historical Kensington Palace in London.
Mr. Niccolò Ricci announced the “Motor Yacht of the Year” nominations during the WSA Ceremony. The winner of this category was DAR, a 90m luxury yacht built by Oceanco Yacht.

Within the broader context of trade events, Stefano Ricci has enhanced his Superyacht division (designing and producing interiors) by taking part in events linked to international fairs such as the Monaco Boat Show.
