THE ELEGANCE OF THE GROTTA AZZURRA
STEFANO RICCI is proud to have supported the photographer Massimo Sestini for his project "The Elegance of the Grotta Azzurra". This photoshoot, published in 2023 and dedicated to adventure, fully represents the spirit of the "Explorer" springing to life near the splendid Italian island of Capri.
Massimo Sestini shot the iconic image with the split shot technique in the natural beauty of Capri's Grotta Azzurra. This project by the elite photographer was finished with the creation of the split shot photo, made possible thanks to the Direzione regionale Musei Campania – Ministero della Cultura, which permitted an exclusive photoshoot inside the grotto.
Thanks to the photographic technique of the split shot, the stunning photographs reveal unexplored and amazing interconnections between "our" world and the hidden universe of the diver: an opportunity to discover some of the most incredible settings under the surface of the sea.
THE SPIRIT OF THE EXPLORER
This journey was undertaken by Massimo Sestini with the spirit of the Explorer and supported by STEFANO RICCI. Before the adventure inside the Grotta Azzura, the first test shots were taken in front of Capri's iconic Faraglioni.
