IN HONOUR OF LEONARDO
A new act of love and patronage for Florence. STEFANO RICCI was invited by the directors of the Uffizi Gallery to ensure the exhibition of four sheets from the Atlantic Codex, destined to feature in the exhibition entitled “Water as a microscope for nature. Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Leicester” staged in conjunction with the Gates Foundation to open the worldwide celebrations to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.
STEFANO RICCI and the LA VENERANDA BIBLIOTECA AMBROSIANA
STEFANO RICCI announced its participation in this international project with an event at Milan's Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Guests were welcomed with a speech by the director of the Ambrosiana, Monsignor Alberto Rocca, and the Director of the Uffizi Gallery, Eike Schmidt.
CELEBRATING LEONARDO AT THE ANTICO SETIFICIO FIORENTINO
The world preview of the exhibition at the Uffizi saw an exclusive dinner at the Antico Setificio Fiorentino, where the international press learned about the atelier which belongs to the STEFANO RICCI group. To mark the occasion, a presentation was organised for a tribute-jacket (donated to the Fashion Museum of Palazzo Pitti) made of ASF fabric with a design inspired by Leonardo's use of the Golden Rule, and five volumes of the Arts and Metiers restored in conjunction with the State Archive.
